Where we've been
History
The chapter is revitalized
The SHPE New Mexico Professional Chapter was revitalized in 2022, bringing renewed energy, leadership, and programming back to Hispanic STEM professionals across the state.
Named Chapter of the Year
Just a year later, the chapter earned the distinction of Chapter of the Year from Region 3 — recognition of the momentum our familia had already built.

Where we fit in
Region 3, ¡está aquí!
Region 3 is SHPE's largest region geographically, consisting of chapters from Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming. The region has experienced considerable growth with the formation of several professional and student chapters — SHPE is the hub for technical talent in Region 3, and holds tremendous potential.
